J-Mac = John McNamara, a religion and CSPE teacher in Gort. For some reason, he's popular with the general "gobshite" population. They both idolize him and make childish jokes (such as the one you saw, referring to a rumor about his sexuality) about him. Personally, I have no problem with him whatsoever. He's only trying to do his job. It's just unfortunate that he has to put up with stuff like this.
